Talks and workshops delivered at schools

The emotional health of schoolchildren is affected by many factors, of which family and school are two of the most important. The workshop designed by Tiankai Soul Team provides a safe space for parents, inviting parents to face their own emotional needs, growing regrets, parenting beliefs and other factors that affect the parent-child relationship. It allows parents to reflect on the boundaries with their children and the importance of cooperation between husband and wife, and inspires parents to use their inner wisdom to create a healthy growth environment for their children.
In addition, the Tiankai Mind Team is committed to promoting the importance of family relationships for children's growth to the education system. They have shared with education professionals on many occasions how schools can support students who are troubled by family problems through lectures and workshops.

"Closer Relationships" Parents' Personal Growth Workshop (Elementary School)
Target audience: Parents
Number of slots: 20
Number of sessions: 6 sessions, 2 hours each
Introduction: Regardless of their child's age or developmental stage, parents always have some degree of anxiety about their child's growth. Driven by this anxiety, parents focus on their child's affairs and study parenting skills, often neglecting to examine their own inner state. Although they wholeheartedly dedicate themselves to their child's future, they remain anxious and uneasy, not only exhausting themselves but also easily affecting parent-child and family relationships. This workshop aims to help participants explore the sources of their expectations of parenting, reflect on the boundaries of interpersonal relationships, provide parents with an opportunity for self-exploration, properly manage their anxieties about their child's growth, and bring a better version of themselves into different interpersonal relationships.

"Closer Relationships" Parents' Personal Growth Workshop (Secondary School)
Target audience: Parents
Number of slots: 20
Number of sessions: 4 sessions, 2 hours each
Introduction: As children enter secondary school, they increasingly need space and autonomy. However, teenagers' judgment and problem-solving abilities are still developing, making it difficult for parents to fully relinquish control. Teenagers' unpredictable behavior often leaves parents feeling lost and confused, and they may struggle with maintaining the right parent-child distance. Furthermore, parents often have differing ideas about how to handle their children, which can easily lead to marital conflict and add pressure to an already tense family atmosphere. This workshop will guide parents to reflect on their own emotional needs, address their anxiety about growing distance from their children, reflect on how to obtain support from their partner, and establish a comfortable interactive distance with their family.

Teacher seminars or workshops
Target audience: Faculty and staff
Number of slots: Unlimited
Length : 2 hours
Introduction: Children's behavioral and emotional problems are often related to their family. Family therapy focuses on addressing children's issues by improving family relationships. However, for children to develop successfully, in addition to a secure and stable family foundation, they also need attractive external factors to draw them out, and schools are a crucial support system for children's external development. When schools recognize that a child's problems are related to their family, their role goes far beyond simply referring families to therapeutic services. In this seminar, the speaker will explore with participants how the important systems involving students—family, school, and community—can coordinate to facilitate students' successful development; and how schools can become an alternative safe haven for students, allowing students with strained family relationships to confidently engage in school life and seize opportunities for self-development.
Parents need to take good care of themselves in order to have the strength to take care of their children.
