Assessment & Psychotherapy
Intellectual assessment

Target :

Children aged 6 to 16 years and 11 months

Purpose :

To understand the child's overall intelligence level, identify the child's strengths and weaknesses in various abilities, analyze their abilities in four aspects: verbal comprehension, perceptual reasoning, working memory, and processing speed, and identify children with special needs (such as gifted or limited intelligence).

Assessment tools :

Internationally recognized standardized assessment tools are used, which are approved by the Hong Kong Education Bureau, the Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority, and schools.

Age 6-16: Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children® Fifth Edition (WISC-V)

Ages 16+: WAIS-IV-HK Assessment

Assessor :

Dr. Cecilia Leung will be responsible for conducting the assessment and completing the report.

Service include:

  1. Consultation with parents

  2. Assessment with the individual 
    (and, if necessary, an adaptation behavior assessment will also be performed).

  3. Clinical observation

  4. A detailed assessment report in English.

  5. Debriefing of assessment results

Service fee : 

$6,500

Assessment for dyslexia

Target :

School children and adolescents aged 6 to 15 years and 6 months

Purpose :

To understand students' reading, writing and cognitive abilities, and to identify students with reading difficulties.

Assessment tools :

Internationally recognized standardized assessment tools are used, which are approved by the Hong Kong Education Bureau, the Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority, and schools.

Ages 6–12.5: Hong Kong Test of Specific Learning Difficulties in Reading and Writing for Primary School Students (3rd Edition)"

Ages 11;7–15;6: Hong Kong Test of Specific Learning Difficulties in Reading and Writing for Junior Secondary Students (2nd Edition)

Ages 6–16: Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children® Fifth Edition (WISC-V)

Assessor :

Dr. Cecilia Leung will be responsible for conducting the assessment and completing the report.

Service include:

  1. Consultation with parents

  2. Assessment with the child

  3. Clinical observation

  4. A detailed assessment report in English.

  5. Debriefing of evaluation results

Service fee : 

$7,500 (excluding intelligence test)

$10,500 (includes intelligence test)

Assessment for autism (ASD)

Target :

Individuals aged 6 or above; including adults.

Purpose :

To assess their social skills, identify whether they have autism spectrum disorder , suggest intervention directions, and refer them to relevant follow-up services as needed.

Assessment tools :

Vary according to age; generally include the Observational Autism Scale-II (ADOS-II), the Autism Diagnosis Interview-Responder Scale (ADI-R), and the Autism Spectrum Quotient.

Assessor :

Dr. Cecilia Leung will be responsible for conducting the assessment and completing the report.

Service include:

  1. Meeting with parents

  2. (Optional) Questionnaires filled in by teacher, to understand children's behavioral performance at school.

  3. Assessment with the child

  4. Clinical observation

  5. A detailed assessment report in English.

  6. Debriefing of evaluation results

Service fee : 

$8,500 (excluding intelligence test)

$10,500 (includes a short intelligence test)

$12,500 (includes detailed intelligence test)

Assessment for ADHD

Target :

Individuals aged 6 or above; including adults.

Purpose :

To identify whether the client has attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), provide intervention recommendations, and refer them to relevant follow-up services as needed.

Assessment tools :

Vary according to different age groups; assessment tools for students generally include

  • The Diagnostic Interview for ADHD in Young People (Aged 5-17 years) (Young DIVA-5)

  • Standardized Questionnaire - Strengths and Weaknesses of ADHD - Symptoms and Normal-Behaviors (Parent) (Parent-SWAN)

Assessor :
